We focus on the development and construction of durable and recyclable quality products, environmentally friendly production processes and minimising the environmental impact of our products.

Our commitment to a sustainable future is firmly anchored in our corporate philosophy. We are aware of our responsibility towards the environment and society. That is why we are actively committed to integrating sustainable behaviour into all our business areas.
We also optimise our production processes in order to use resources more efficiently and reduce our carbon footprint in the long term. This can be realised step by step through investments in sales, products and production as well as the use of new, innovative technologies. In recent years, for example, Boehlerit has been able to significantly reduce electricity and natural gas consumption through heat recovery and also water consumption through state-of-the-art washing and wet blasting systems.

Our commitment to sustainability encompasses not only the aspect of modernisation, but also the active involvement of our employees in this process. We are convinced that each individual can make a valuable contribution to a sustainable future. We have therefore taken a number of measures to promote awareness of sustainability and encourage our employees to get actively involved.
As part of the ‘WeCare’ initiative, Boehlerit and its employees, together with its sister companies Leitz and Bilz, are voluntarily committed worldwide to the protection of species, nature and the environment as well as to social and humanitarian issues.
